Rox City Grill in North Carolina

"Y’all I can’t say enough good things about this restaurant. Not many mom and pop places around anymore. RCG gives that small town family feeling from the moment you walk in the door. It was so nice to see the people walk in and visit with each other hug and sit down and talk with folks they haven’t seen in a while or maybe they did but just enjoyed the company of them. RCG is alway busy, but yet you still get great service. It is the place to be! The food is amazing and we tried several menu items and not disappointed at all. We ate two out of three meals on the 4 day stay we had in town at the hotel next store. If y’all want a down home feeling and great food, go have a meal or two or three at RCG you will not be disappointed. If you can’t dine, they have carrie out as well. "They run out of salmon frequently. It is a big seller. Someone needs to stock appropriately. It's very cold in there. People comment about it and keep their jackets/coats on. Staff is friendly."

"I kept forgetting about the Grill and would remember when driving by. Finally got there on a Walmart run. I started to go with breakfast but saw the hotdogs are Nathan's. I went with the Char Heel with no onions and shredded Cheddar, tots with cheese and bacon and a side of macaroni salad made that day. Husband went with the special... chicken fried chicken with mashes potatoes and French fries. The hotdog was so good and loaded with topping. The tots had big pieces of real crunchy bacon and they were cooked just right. I took the pasta home for lunch the next day... so good with my leftover pork. I'm a salt-a-holic, so I did add salt. The gravy was really good! It was so nice being in a down-home grill with great friendly service. I will be back for breakfast!"

"Great local place, service was great and friendly. We had country fried chicken (with pinto beans, tots and hush puppies) and a cheeseburger with tots. The food was good, served fresh and hot but it wasn't anything extra special. They catered to the locals and if we were local I'd try them again."

"Great place to stop in and get a bite. Generous portions at an affordable price with a great small town look and feel. My burger was delicious and a really good value. Homemade ranch is always a good thing and paired with their homemade chips was an amazing combination."

"Had the double cheeseburger burger, it was huge. Tater tots were petrified (overcooked). Didn't take long to get my food, was greeted in a reasonable amount of time. I will be back but wiser when ordering. Food tasted good."
